The Constructech Top Products honor the best products tailored for the construction and homebuilding markets. Winning entries were chosen based on product description, the product’s overall usefulness and uniqueness to the construction industry, and the customer growth rate for the particular product throughout the past few years.

The editors of EH Publishing judged based upon reviews, product demonstrations, and talking with users and installers of the products. Topping the list of criteria is technological innovation, combined with overall value.

HAI will be profiled in the September 2007 issue of Electronic House magazine, as well as featured online.

HAI’s Snap-Link won the 2007 Building Products Most Valuable Product award. Of the hundreds of entries, only thirty-two products in eight categories were singled out for the distinction. The winners were determined by the readers of Building Products, which includes builders, remodelers, multifamily developers, and architects.

According to the publication, the awards are “based on ease-of use, forward-thinking, cost-saving, and the ability to provide ‘value’ to the building and remodeling community.”

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has awarded HAI’s Snap-Link with a 2007 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award in the Integrated Home Systems category. An independent panel of preeminent industrial designers, engineers and members of the press selected the winners.

Additionally the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) endorsed and acted as advisors to the Innovations awards. The judges determine the winning products based on user value, unique and novel features, contribution to the quality of life, and the aesthetic and design qualities of the product.

HAI's Snap-Link was awarded a CHIP (CePro High Impact Product) by the readers of CePro magazine. The CHIP awards are based on the recommendations of professional integrators who have sold, installed, and profited from the winning products.

HAI was presented with the Growth Company of the Year award at the 3rd Annual Technology Ewards Gala. Presented by the Louisiana Technology Council and the Greater New Orleans Inc. Regional Economic Alliance, the award symbolizes the triumph of HAI in sales and production in spite of Hurricane Katrina.

HAI was also a nominee in the other award categories of: Outstanding Leadership in Technology, New Technlogy Product of the Year, and Best Application of Technology.

In a special edition of New Orleans CityBusiness, HAI was given the Silver Award for Innovator of the Year. This issue profiles innovative companies, educators, and nonprofit organizations in the local community.

New Orleans CityBusiness is the New Orleans metropolitan area's oldest business newspaper. It provides in-depth weekly coverage of trends, developments, and transactions on industries and markets relevant to the New Orleans community.

HAI named one of the Hottest Companies for 2006 by Constructech Residential Magazine. The editors of Constructech selected HAI as one of the companies highlighted as a top provider in the market.
