Training -> HAI Classes

HAI classes are intended for professional installing dealers & building contractors.

HAI classes are either sponsored by HAI or by an HAI Distribution Partner.

HAI classes sponsored by HAI Distribution Partners are known as VIP Workshops. VIP Workshops are designed to meet the specific needs and requests of a Distributor's installers. The Distributor handles the registration for these classes.

Some HAI classes are eligible for CEU credits. Please check with your local chapter to verify that it will accept these credits.

Automation 101

This class will teach you how to design home automation systems for homes of any size and in any price range.  From the simplest lighting applications, to the most advanced audio and video distribution systems we will teach you how to choose the right product for the job.

Factory Training

HAI offers Factory training at HAI's New Orleans headquarters. There is a fee required to attend these classes.

HAI has setup automation controllers and computers to allow attendees to get hands-on training during these classes.

HAI offers the following Factory Classes:

• Factory 201 This class covers the installation and programming of HAI automation systems and accessories. HAI has setup automation controllers and computers to allow attendees to get hands-on training during these classes.

HAI Application Programming

This class teaches HAI installers how to program the Omni and Lumina family of Home Control systems.  It is designed for experienced HAI installers and covers advanced topics such using flags as counters, timers, and status keepers.

Hi-Fi 2 by HAI

This course covers how to design, sell, and install the innovative new Whole Home Audio system from HAI. The Hi-Fi 2 by HAI is a multi zone multi source audio distribution system that uses Class D digital amplifiers to distribute music throughout the home. Hi-Fi 2 by HAI is modular, expandable and requires no expensive proprietary source equipment.
