This 24 Hour Fitness Center in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, was automated by HAI Dealer, AIT.
The owner of a 24 hour fitness location was looking for ways to save money as well as add safety and convenience to his fitness center. AIT designed a solution using HAI and tied it into the existingl systems. The owner was given Snap-Link so he could remotely monitor the location from a PC.
As soon as someone swipes their access card by the proximity reader, the door unlatches, all of the lights come back on, the thermostat resets to normal and the music and televisions turn on. An event log keeps track of exact time/date of entrance and exit.
AIT put motion throughout the location to monitor movement. If no movement is noticed for a certain time period then most of the lights are turned off, the thermostat resets and the music is turned off.
Members even swipe cards at the tanning beds for secure access. Additionally, emergency alert pendants have been strategically placed for older members/women if it is late at night or in case of emergency. One push can activate a number of security features.
By automating the facility, the owner was able to start seeing a savings in his energy bill, increased his customer's piece of mind, and added a little wow factor to his business.

OmniTouch 5.7e Touchscreen, Omni Console, HAI Lighting Control, 64 Zone Wireless Receiver, Quad Pet Immune Motion Detectors, Wireless Door Contacts, Panic/Alert Pendant, Home Theater Extender, and Snap-Link Remote Access Software.
