The features of these model homes are as follows:
Several hundred lines of HAI code have been written for this home. The programming includes a ‘Home Demo’ HAI button that turns on over 200 lights, 3 water features (through the Jandy Pool computer interfaced to the HAI OmniPro II), and plays different music through 16 zones of NuVo controlled audio.
There are also various programs that adjust the HVAC in various areas, including the guest house, based on occupancy, adjust the lighting inside and outside based on time of day and security status, adjust lights to go on when cameras are engaged, etc. monitor and control the pool and spa and notify guests of pool and spa temperature. The Guest House features a zoned security system.
This home was intended to fully demonstrate everything that is possible to implement using affordable off-the-shelf technology. HAI was selected as the most affordable solution with the best interface options. It was also a design requirement to interface with Nuvo, Jandy, and Windows Media Center, and HAI provided a solution for each.
