Russound Audio Distribution Systems give you the ability to select and distribute
music from any audio source to different rooms in your
house simultaneously and independently.
HAI's OmniPro II and Lumina Pro home control systems integrate with the
Russound
CAV6.6, CAM6.6, CAA66, and
CAS44 Multiroom Audio Systems.
Russound CAV6.6
The CAV6.6 controller distributes six audio-video sources into six zones. Multiple
controllers can link together for additional zones, up to a max of 36 zones.
It seamlessly operates with Russound
smart source equipment.
Russound CAM6.6
The CAM6.6 multiroom receiver distributes six audio sources into six zones. Multiple
receivers can link together for additional zones, up to a max of 36 zones.
It seamlessly operates with Russound
smart source equipment.
Russound CAA66
The CAA66 multiroom audio controller amplifier distributes six audio sources into six zones.
Multiple controllers can link together for additional zones, up to a max of 36 zones.
It seamlessly operates with Russound
smart source equipment.
Russound CAS44
The CAS44 multiroom audio controller amplifier distributes four audio sources into four zones.
Two controllers can link together for an additional four zones (eight total). This
Russound audio controller does not support Russound's RNET protocol; accordingly, you cannot
see song titles, radio station, etc. on an HAI OmniTouch Touchscreen.
HAI Integration
You connect a Russound system to an HAI OmniPro II or Lumina Pro system using a serial
port connection. You will need an available serial port on your HAI system and
an HAI Serial Connectivity Adapter Kit (Part Number 36A05-4) to connect the Russound
system to the HAI system.
An HAI OmniTouch Touchscreen
can control on/off,
volume, muting, transports, audio source, and many
other functions for each audio zone.
With HAI OmniPro II or Lumina Pro integration you can
customize your music and home control
experience. Imagine returning home to your favorite
music playing, lights set to your desired levels, and
temperature to a cozy setting...just by disarming your
system. Never again will your children disturb your
neighbors in the middle of the night because they forgot
that the outside speakers were on - OmniPro II or Lumina Pro can
make sure that it doesn’t happen by automatically turning off the outdoor
audio zone after 10:00 PM.
Requirements
The Russound integration works with an HAI OmniPro II or Lumina Pro system that has firmware
version 2.10 or higher.
