Omni IIe HAI Part Number: 20A00-50
Current Firmware Version: 2.15

The Omni IIe is the heart of your automated home, and it can coordinate all of the systems in your home to talk to each other. The system provides enhanced comfort, safety, convenience and energy savings by coordinating lighting, heating and air, security, scenes and messaging based on activity and schedules.

Omni IIe is the middle member of HAI's Omni Home Control System product line. It is an ideal and economical choice for homes and small businesses.

HAI Part Number 20A00-50 comes with an Omni IIe controller with enclosure, lock set with two keys, UPB™ PIM, RJ31X cord and jack, and manuals.

See the Section titled Other Omni IIe Part Numbers for the Part Numbers for other Omni IIe configurations.

Omni IIe systems are designed for professional installation. The licensing requirements for their installation vary by state because Omni systems have built-in security.

Home Automation with Omni IIe

An Omni IIe is the heart of your automated home Omni IIe comes with several standard modes, such as Day, Night, Away and Vacation, and can accept customized scenes such as "Good night", "Good morning" or "Entertainment" that set temperatures, lights, audio, and security to the desired levels with one touch.

Security settings, temperature sensors, and motion sensors may be used to adjust lights, appliances and thermostats, monitor activity and track events.

You can create "modes" in your Omni IIe to customize your music and home control experience.

Imagine returning home to your favorite music playing, lights set to your desired levels, and temperature to a cozy setting.

Never again will your children disturb your neighbors in the middle of the night because they forgot the outside speakers were on - Omni IIe will make sure that it doesn't happen by turning the audio zone off after 10:00 PM.

The programming of an Omni IIe allows installers and homeowners to set schedules and actions performed by the system, and to add new favorite sequences of actions/event as desired.

Security

Omni family systems have built-in security Omni IIe has an astronomical clock and automatically adjusts for daylight savings time in order to always provide accurate dusk to dawn lighting control. They detect intrusion, smoke and fire, carbon monoxide, water, and other hazards with wired or wireless sensors. Omni IIe systems support 2 and 4 wire smoke detectors.

In the event of a fire, the air conditioning is turned off to deter the spread of smoke and fire. You can also set the system to turn on all of the lights in the house to aid in your family's safe exit.

Security zones are fully configurable and expandable. You may set the validity of user codes by time and authority. You may supervise zones, battery, and bell circuits. Additionally, Omni IIe systems permit true partitioning for security and control.

HAI has a line of wireless security accessories that may be used with an Omni IIe for security and automation applications.

Omni IIe has a built-in digital communicator for use with a central station and can dial up to 8 additional phone numbers chosen by the owner for voice notification. Also, when the system is tripped and you are using optional HAI Internet software your notification options include e-mail and Internet video surveillance.

Omni IIe systems maintain an event log with time and date stamp.

Lighting Control

Omni IIe systems provide sophisticated lighting control An Omni IIe system can control your home lighting by schedule, motion detected, door openings, sunrise, sunset, alarm activation and more.

Enjoy the benefits of a sophisticated lighting control system by setting scenes, fades, and dimming levels. You can easily set elegant lighting scenes for each room or for the whole house, without the use of complicated software programs or the need to rewire your home.

Omni IIe has an astronomical clock and automatic daylight savings for accurate dusk to dawn lighting control year round.

Omni IIe supports HAI's HAI Lighting Control (HLC) products, which include dimmers, Scene Switches, and House Status Switches. It can operate lighting devices by other manufacturers, including Z-Wave™, ALC hardwire, RF, custom hardwire, and others provided by HAI's Connectivity Partners.

Energy Management

Omnistat Thermostats provide comfort for your home If you add HAI's Omnistat Communicating Thermostats, you may control your home's temperatures through your Omni IIe system by schedule and activity - such as home, asleep, away, room occupancy, outdoor temperature, etc.

Using HAI temperature and humidity sensors allow for temperature-based programming of events in your Omni IIe. The temperature may be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, coolers.

Using a telephone or one of HAI's optional Internet control software packages you can warm up or cool down the house after a vacation, check on temperatures, and save energy.

To increase the features and benefits of your
Omni IIe system consider a Touchscreen,
HAI Whole Home Audio System,
or one of HAI's software options.
