HAI UPB™ Upstart Configuration Software

The following parts are required to connect the lighting system to your computer:

  • PIM & Cable (HAI Part Number 36A00-1)

  • UPB PIM to Computer Cable (HAI Part Number 36A05-2)

Generation II UPB

HAI UPB™ Upstart Configuration Software may be used to configure the UPB™ devices used in HAI Lighting Control (HLC).

This software has many options, including the following:

  • Turn a Dimming Switch into a Non-Dimming Switch (and vice-versa)


  • Change the LED color on a switch to off, blue, red, or magenta


  • Change the fade rates used when a dimming switch is brightened or dimmed


The Upstart Configuration Service is provided as a courtesy to all UPB™ manufacturers, and HAI technical support will not train you on how to use this software.
