HAI strongly recommends users to contact Philips (www.pronto.philips.com) and complete the Pronto certification process prior to installation. There is technical training available from the “Professional Area Access” portion of the Philips site.
CRITICAL NOTE #1: In order to use any Pronto-Link Version 2.0 or later "XCF" file, you must be using Phillips' ProntoEdit Professional (PEP) 2.0 or later. Version 2.0 files can not be used on any earlier versions of the PEP software.
CRITICAL NOTE #2: Pronto-Link Versions 1.3 and earlier can be opened and used in Phillips' ProntoEdit Professional Version 2.0, but once saved, will no longer be compatible with earlier versions of the PEP software.
HAI has also created a demo file for both the Phillips TSU9600 Pronto and TSU9400 Pronto
to show how Pronto Link works, even if you do not have an HAI controller. All features of Pronto Link are demonstrated by simulating
being connected to an HAI OmniPro II controller.
The demo controls a security system, lights, temperatures, and a Hi-Fi by HAI audio system.
The demo file for the Phillips TSU9600 may be
downloaded here.
The demo file for the Phillips TSU9400 may be
downloaded here.
Please read the readme.txt document inside the downloaded file for instructions on
what is required to run the demo, how to load it, and the security code required to simulate turning the
alarm system on and off.
