HAI has released firmware version 3.2 for its Omni and Lumina family controllers and version 3.2 of its PC Access software. Version 3.2 firmware adds support for Clipsal C-Bus lighting and addresses several operational issues.
As a result of this firmware release, Clipsal has been added as an
HAI Connectivity Partner.
HAI controllers now support two-way integration with Clipsal C-Bus lighting through the C-Bus Serial PC Interface. Individual lighting groups can be directly controlled, and lighting scenes can be triggered by the HAI controller. The HAI controller monitors C-Bus lighting and can respond to changes in the C-Bus system. C-Bus support is available in Omni LT, Omni II, Omni IIe, OmniPro II, Lumina, and Lumina Pro controllers.
Operational issues addressed include:
- Improved operation of NuVo Grand Concerto and Essentia G menu.
- Improved Omni-Link 2 notifications for units and system events.
- Improved Lutron Radio RA timed level commands.
PC Access version 3.2 includes the 3.2 firmware update for flash-updatable Omni IIe, OmniPro II, Lumina, and Lumina Pro controllers. EPROM chip updates are available for these controllers and also for Omni LT and Omni controllers.
