Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced product enhancements and certifications to the Omni-Bus Lighting Control Network.
Omni-Bus utilizes a worldwide standard for mounting Din-Rail, allowing load control of CFL, LED, electronic low-voltage, Halogen, and incandescent lighting sources. Designed for the 220-240V/50Hz International marketplace, the DIN Rail style HAI Omni-Bus Lighting Control Network provides hardwired and wireless solutions. The products are broken down into four segments: Core Products (Required), Load Control Modules, Switch Interfaces, and Accessories. Products are available for control of lighting loads, fans, motors, pumps, and more.
The Interface Translator DIN Rail Module, HAI Part Number 117A00-1, now includes enhanced functionality, including a built-in Ethernet port with Omni-Link support. The 117A00-1 also includes a built-in USB port for configuration of the Translator from Omni-Bus software as well as a gateway (programming interface) to the rest of the bus network. The 117A00-1 now has a built-in wireless receiver for use with Omni-Bus wireless remote controls, incorporating the receiving features of the RF Transceiver DIN Rail Module, HAI part number 115A00-1. The item also features a TCP/IP gateway to the Omni-Bus network from the improved Omni-Bus software, allowing configuration via a network connection.
HAI will discuss these and other products during nine different trainings at Integrated Systems Europe. Courses will be held in Room D401 by Jason Moyer, HAI’s European Manufacturer’s Representative, and Thomas Pickral Jr, HAI Business Development Manager, on February 2nd, 2012.
