and marketing tools designed to promote its award-winning automation product
line in new home developments.
HAI's current Builder
Partner Program, introduced in 2001, has been expanded to accommodate various
levels of participation. "Research indicates that 81% of home builders see
home technology as a means to increase profits," comments Allison Read, HAI
Director of Marketing, "These new programs will help them accomplish that."
In addition, HAI has
unveiled new Builder and Architect sections of its website to address the
specific needs of each industry. The Builder site includes information on the
CEA Techome Rating System, HAI's marketing programs, and will soon list HAI
participating builders and model home locations. The Architect's section of
HAI's site features newly available CSI Format architectural specifications of
HAI's Omni Family controllers and accessories.
"We wanted to expand our
support for builders and architects who recognize the increasing consumer demand

In conjunction with the
enhanced Builder Partner Program, HAI has updated its Model Home Support Kit to
include "Automation Simplified" brochures, FAQ sheets for Builders, Realtors,
and Interested Home Buyers, and discreet wall displays that convey the benefits
of an HAI automated home.
