HAI, the leading manufacturer of integrated

its Web-Link II and OmniPro II products.
HAI's OmniPro II has been named as one of the Top
Products of 2002 by Electronic House magazine. "It
was particularly hard to choose our favorites this year given that we received
hundreds of entries," commented Cindy Davis, Editor-In-Chief of Electronic
House. "I am happy to say that in the end it was unanimous..."
The award-winning OmniPro II
is a sixth generation controller. It includes UL-Listed security, HVAC and
lighting control for energy management, and the ease of telephone and Internet
access and control. It also features three built-in serial ports, and an
Ethernet port, for connection to additional home devices like touchscreens, and
infra-red controls for home theater, lighting controls and computers.
Earlier this year, the
OmniPro II took home the CES Innovations Award in the Integrated Home Systems
category and garnered the Popular Mechanics Editor's Choice Award.
HAI's Web-Link II software
was recently named one of the Top 25 products of the year by the Editors of
Electrical Contracting & Engineering News and was selected as one of the Top
50 Products of the Year by Home Automation magazine.
Web-Link II allows Internet
access and control of a home automation system with wireless access, video
surveillance, and the ability to receive emails based on programmed events, such
as, the alarm has been activated or the kids have arrived home from school.
Previously, the original
version of Web-Link won the CES Innovations 2000 Award for Design and
Engineering, and the Home Automation & Networking Association's 2000 Mark of
Excellence Award in the Home Control & Networking Software category. Web-Link
II was named as one of the Security Industry's Finest in addition to receiving
the Home Automation Product Achievement Award, both given by the Security
Industry Association in 2001. Additionally, it was also awarded the ADEX Gold
Award for Design Excellence in the Software & Technology category and was chosen
as one of the top products of 2001 by the Editors of Electronic House
magazine.
