New Orleans, LA
HAI, the leading manufacturer of home
automation systems since 1985, has been selected by W&W Partners, a
residential development company, to provide it's award-winning home automation
products for the eight homes that will be featured in the Dream Home Showcase of
Carpenter Village in Cary, North Carolina.
The custom built development of Carpenter
Village consists of 900 attached and detached residential units with price
ranges up to $1 million. The Dream Home Showcase is sponsored by the Home
Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and will be open to the public from
May 5th until May 20th.
"This is the biggest real estate event in
the region," explains Randy Moore, President of Coldwell Banker Advantage
New Homes, who is handling the sales and marketing for the project. "Eight
award winning custom builders were selected to build some of the most
technologically advanced homes this area has ever seen. Each home will be fully
furnished and decorated with the latest colors and design decorating concepts
and will be equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology available for
home use."
Each of the eight homes will feature an HAI home
automation system that intuitively coordinates the home's lighting, security
system, and air/heating system for improved comfort, convenience, safety and
energy savings. Also, a homeowner can access his home automation system over the
phone or Internet to adjust lights and temperatures, arm or disarm the security
system, or view children or property through a video camera that transmits the
images to a hand held PDA or office PC. Additionally the system can initiate a
phone call, instant message, or email to a homeowner based on a household event,
such as the kids have arrived home from school, or the alarm has gone off.
