HAI Introduces New Water Temperature Sensor to Monitor Temperature of Pools, Spas, Aquatic Ponds, and Greenhouses

Date: 09/18/02

New Orleans, LA   HAI, the leading manufacturer of integrated security and automation products since 1985, has announced the addition of a new water temperature sensor to its award-winning product line.  The new sensor will be used to monitor temperatures for pools, spas, aquatic ponds, and greenhouses.

The new sensor's stainless steel probe is designed specifically to monitor the water temperature from the return/source and then report that information back to the HAI Omni Family controller.  If the temperature gets too high or low, the controller can then take the appropriate programmed action to bring the temperature back to the desired level.

"Homeowners can conveniently monitor their pool's temperature by reading the console inside the home, over the Internet with Web-Link II, or have the system call or send an email if there is an extreme temperature change," explains Scott Dudoussat, HAI Director of Technical Services.  "For people with pools, spas, ponds and greenhouses, this new sensor is a very convenient means of monitoring the temperature."

All HAI products are sold through a worldwide network of Distribution Partners and installed by over 1000 dealers.  For more information on HAI's new water temperature sensor or any of HAI's other award-wining products, please visit www.homeauto.com or call (800) 229-7256.
